Born in the Laconian village of Varvitsa, George Fountas arrived in Australia in the 1950s and was key to the Pallaconian Brotherhood’s foundation in the 1960s. By the 1970s Mr. Fountas was President of the Club, with its activities centred around Brunswick.
After arriving in Australia from his native village of Peristeri in Laconia, Con Karavitis became involved in the Pallaconian Brotherhood during the mid-1980s. In the years 1985-1986, Con helped establish an active committee and served as its President.
Sam was born in the vilage of Elos in Laconia, and arrived in Australia in June 1955 aged 21. A Brunswick local, Sam’s real estate business was 400 metres away from the Brotherhood. He served as President of the Brotherhood from 1988-1990 and again from 1994-1995.Â
